FUTURE PAST, its subject matter, should keep using HAVE.
Easy
way to memorize the 16 formula tenses.
First
we have to memorize the first 16 tenses name it, and we continue to memorize
the formula. For
how to remember the names of all the tenses, I've explained in a previous post.
please see here. So
now we are going to learn how to remember the formula. Here
I will explain in points - points, to make it more easily understood.
1. Characteristic
feature is the verbal sentence using the VERB and Object
2. In
contrast, the characteristic features of non verbal sentence is TOBE and
adjective.
3. To be
here is assumed to be (am, is, are), or form one.
4. Continuous traits
characteristic phrase is "TO BE + Ving". (Am,
is, are, for the present. Was Past were for. Been for perfect and continuous.
5. Characteristic
features of perfect tense is "HAVE / HAS / HAD + V3". (Note: Have to Present, Had
to Past)
6. Characteristic
traits of sentence IS PERFECT CONTINUOUS "Have / Had + Been + Ving".
7. Characteristic traits futures
sentence is Will.
8. Characteristic feature is
the Future Past WOULD sentence.
Note:
Make sure you memorize all the hallmark features.
Then how can we can make a sentence without looking at the formula? Let us try to practice.
Then how can we can make a sentence without looking at the formula? Let us try to practice.
We take
an example, we make the formula "PAST PERFECT" is verbal.
1. All
sentences begin with the subject here, then we must determine the subject
first.
I +
2. Having defined subject, and the second is putting Had and Verb 3. Because as I explained earlier verbal phrase to characterize perfect is had + V3. Had we used because we want to make sentences Past. (See point number 5)
+ I + Had Done
3. Finished.
Want
more examples? Well
let's try to make a sentence with the formula FUTURE PERFECT continuous.
1.
As before, we specify the subject first. Here I will be demonstrated
"They".
They +
2. Characteristic traits of
the Future tense is will. (See point
number 7). Hence,
They + will +
3.
Then the characteristic traits of the "Perfect
Continuous" is have / had + been + Ving (See point number 6) then,
+ They + Will + Have + been studying
4.
Just add the object or adverb. (Although
not given additional object / adverb also not what - what)
Objects give
additional examples:
+ They + Will + Have + been + studying English
Adverb give
additional examples:
They + Will + Have + been + there + Studying
